Horsing Around on the Boston Common

The horse jumping on Boston Common yesterday was neat. I have not sen horses since I was a kid, so I was surprised to see them in Boston. I stink at taking motion pictures, so I did not really take any pictures. But I did get a cool little video.

Plum Island cancelled this weekend

Sometimes I forget wherr I am thanks to our crazy weather patterns. Yesterday the entire northeast erupted into a 5.9 earthquake. But this is not California! This weekend we are supposed to get pummeled by at least the minimum tropical storm from Hurricane Irene. But this is not Florida. I can never win in the past few years with weather.
If thats not bad enough, I was planning a trip to Plum Island on Sunday. Unfortunately some witch named Irene has other plans:(
